The New European Colours Collection~ Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint

So have you SEEN these colors??? LOVE!

It wasn’t love at first sight, though. As a certified retailer (that means I know stuff and I’m certified to teach some of that stuff I know to you!) for Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint, I got to see a preview of the colors a while ago- and was so excited!! I’m not a pink girl but even I loved Arabesque. I had mixed colors very similar to Layla’s Mint so I knew I’d like that one, but I wasn’t too sure about Schloss, Marzipan and Mora. I was *SO* wrong. so wrong.

They are all beautiful colors and whats so funny to me is that the ones I wasn’t sure about are my favorites! Just look at these!

Let’s start with Mora..

mora
It is a whisper of a color – a neutral with gray, blue and green undertones. It’s subtle. It’s pretty. I love it.

seriously??? The perfect greige! It’s warmer and richer than Trophy, but a neutral all the same. love it.

Think old school ballet tights, dusty pink tutus and pale tea roses and you’ll have a good idea what to expect from Arabesque. Yet it’s oddly a neutral! Its very feminine but not so in your face pink that the non-pink lovers in your life pack their stuff and leave. in a hurry.

A version of this warm, minty green was originally custom-mixed for Layla of The Lettered Cottage, hence the name. It has been tweaked a bit and now is such a great… wait for it…..neutral minty green! Seriously! A neutral minty green!

O.K. another I wasn’t all so excited about. at first. And let me say in my defense, I LOVE BLUES. love love looooove blues and greens. not a fan of baby blue. at all. thought this would be…. it’s not. it’s a beautiful, subtle smokey blue gray and I’m smitten.

Yay! Another version of white! I thought sarcastically. I was so wrong! Yes- its a shade of white but it’s a gorgeous versatile shade! It’s an off-white with beige and warm gray undertones… one of my favorite neutrals now. It looks amazing with both white and creamy colors….

So there they are… the new European Colours Collection. Which one do you want to try first? Or try them all! I just happen to have them in stock….
